Maintenance and Gardening Volunteer
Location: Dublin Rehoming Centre

Help us keep tails wagging and our outdoor spaces blooming! Do you love being outdoors, getting your hands dirty, and making a difference for dogs in need? Join us this summer as a Maintenance & Gardening Volunteer at our rehoming centre and help us create a clean, calm, and welcoming environment for dogs, staff, volunteers and visitors alike.
What you’ll be doing:
- Maintaining grassy areas
- Weeding, planting, and caring for garden beds
- Sweeping and clearing walkways
- Supporting light DIY or maintenance tasks (painting, fence repairs, etc.)
- Helping keep our outdoor areas safe and tidy
Why it matters:
Our dogs love spending time outdoors—whether they’re going for walks, playing in the sand and mud, or relaxing in the fresh air. Clean, safe, and well-maintained surroundings help reduce stress, improve enrichment, and give every dog the best chance at finding their forever home.
